1 – Busch Gardens
Located on North Malcom McKinley Drive, Busch Gardens Tampa is one of the most highly reverred amusement parks in the entire country. There’s plenty of fun for your family to enjoy throughout the day. The park is owned by SeaWorld, but there’s a whole lot more than water attractions on hand. There are also guided adventure tours, a Serengeti Safarai, and numerous live shows, rides, and attractions for younger kids. Of course, there are plenty of places to grab a cold beverage or quick bite to eat as well.
Busch Gardens is perhaps most notable for its animal based attractions. These include the bird gardens, a cheetah run, the “Edge of Africa”, and the “Jambo Junction. You’ll also be surrounded by plenty of places to grab merchandise and souvenirs for your entire family. This place is really a lot of fun!
2 – Florida Museum Of Photographic Arts
Located on North Ashley Drive, the FL Museum of Photographic Arts is part of Tampa’s amazing Waterfront art district. Residing within the Cube building, the exterior and interior alike are their own works of art. The museum has been going strong since 2001, and it acts as a one of a kind showcase for the artistic value of photography. Many other museums feature a mixture of various forms of art, but photographs are the stars of the show here.
3 – Tampa Riverwalk
The Tampa Riverwalk is a gorgeous stretch of walkway that runs between downtown Tampa and Hillsborough River. You’ll be granted access to several parks, the waterfront, museums, hotels, restaurants, and other sources of entertainment along the way. You’re also sure to run into quite a few interesting characters. This is one of the best places to enjoy the nightlife of Tampa, as well as its overall chilled out atmosphere. You can walk up and down to take in the sights and sounds if you’re on your own, and it also makes for a great date night!
